Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles

⏱ 10 min 🍽 Serves 4 📈 easy 🌍 American
Finished dish

Frozen treats made from creamy yogurt blended with real fruit, a healthy alternative to sugary store-bought popsicles. Toddlers love them and parents love the hidden nutrition.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Combine yogurt, strawberries, banana slices, and blueberries in a blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth with no chunks that could be a choking hazard.
  3. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a small gap at the top for expansion.
  4. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. To unmold, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds until the popsicle loosens.

Chef's note: No added sugar needed as the ripe fruit provides all the sweetness. Use whole-milk yogurt for toddlers as they need the healthy fats. For younger toddlers, use silicone popsicle molds designed for small hands. Always supervise to prevent biting off large chunks. Keeps in the freezer for up to 1 month.
